Monmouth County (Freehold) holds sheriff’s sales every other Monday at 1:00 PM at the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Center, 2500 Kozloski Road, Freehold, NJ 07728. If Monday is a holiday, the sale is held Tuesday. Unlike most NJ counties, Monmouth places the responsibility for deed recording and all transfer fees on the purchaser.
